Have you ever been put in a situation where you had to make a decision that no matter what you choose it's gonna hurt someone? I have, and to be quite honest, it's not good.
Every day people are faced with problems and situations they have to deal with and they are not always the easiest. You wonder if you are making the right decision, and sometimes second guess yourself. I know I have done it and sometimes i've realized after that I've made the wrong decision, but it's over and done with.
The way I look at it is to go with your gut instinct unless there is a proven fact that can help you make a decision. Let's look for example at a group of young teens looking for something to do on a Friday night. One in the group suggests going to watch a movie, while another suggests getting some alcohol and going to someones' house. The majority of the group likes the second idea, and the teen who suggested the movie is in a tough spot. To me and most people the decision would be obvious, go to the movies and enjoy it as to stay out of trouble. But this being a young teen feels the peer pressure.
Like I said earlier, sometimes you just have to go with your first instinct if there is no proven evidence. This single teen knows drinking is wrong, and therefore goes to the movies alone instead.
Making decisions can be very difficult, but we have to always try and make the right ones.
How would you make a difficult decision???
